Plant 4 - Frederickson, Washington
Our structural design for this facility included foundations for three pieces of equipment: a 70 ton auxiliary silo, 150 ton cement silo, and 200 ton aggregate mixing bin. We also provided civil engineering for a concrete mixing truck wash slab, a three-celled containment sump, and stormwater infiltration facility. Our plant layout was coordinated with an overall master mining plan to ensure compatibility with future conveyor and truck scale construction. This also involved relocation of internal haul roads, alignment of conveying equipment with aggregate storage, and avoidance of existing buildings and utilities. From the start of the project we worked closely with the owner to determine the best configuration of the plant to optimize future production.
