Pierce Transit Training Facility - Lakewood, Washington
Sitts & Hill Engineers, Inc. worked in conjunction with the Architect and Contractor to design the new Pierce Transit Office and Training Facility. The project included the structural and civil designs for an office and training building and associated site work including drainage and parking. The 26,300 square foot structure is a two story concrete tilt panel exterior walls and the structural framing consisted of steel bar joists supported by steel beams for both floor and roof framing. Lateral system consisted of architecturally exposed concrete tilt panels. The project was completed under the $6.0 million owner budget. Construction was completed 2005.
